Robots and unmanned systems are shouldering ever-greater roles in military and law enforcement operations.  More Industries specializes in products that make unmanned ground, aerial, and surface vehicles more capable and effective.  The HAMMER unmanned weapons system and H2X-40 Turret give bomb robots and unmanned vehicles enhanced capabilities.  HAMMER is a remotely operated multi-mission unmanned weapon payload.  The H2X-40 Turret provides remote positioning for up to two HAMMER systems.  Applications for HAMMER include: IED disruption, military operations in urban terrain (MOUT), structural and vehicular breaching, and fixed asset defense.

Soldiers are benefiting from the use of robots and unmanned systems on the battlefield.  It is estimated that hundreds of lives have been saved through the use of robots.  Nowhere is this more true than in the area of Explosive Ordnance Disposal.  One of the greatest threats to soldiers today are Improvised Explosive Devices otherwise known as IEDs.  Explosive ordnance disposal  robots allow soldiers to remotely approach and render safe IEDs using specialized tools.  HAMMER is a highly effective IED disruption tool and breacher and will enable military OED units to increase effectiveness and operational tempo.

The H2X-40 Turret system supports two HAMMER unmanned weapons.  The turret allows remote HAMMER positioning and actuation without the need for an existing positioning system, such as a robotic arm.  The H2X Turret is commanded in one of two modes: integrated with the existing control architecture of an unmanned vehicle, or in a stand-alone mode where all turret functions are controlled by a remote operator through a dedicated computer-based interface.  Friendly soldier and non-combatant safety is of utmost importance.  All H2X Turret functions feature "man-in-the-loop" for safety and control.

HAMMER offers unique robot-deployed counter-IED, breaching, non-lethal, and special weapon capabilities.  The system is characterized by very low recoil, near zero maintenance, large magazine capacity, and excellent reliability.  HAMMER is intended for rapid deployment on lightweight EOD and tactical robots such as iRobot's PackBot tactical mobile robot.  The HAMMER system may also be deployed on unmanned aerial vehicles, larger tactical robots, manned vehicles, and fixed installations.  Contact More Industries at: info@moreindustries.com for more information.

HAMMER unmanned weapon system
MPS AA-12 shotgun
The HAMMER unmanned weapon system  consists of a state-of-the-art stainless steel 12-gage shotgun equipped for remote safety, aiming, and actuation.  HAMMER features include: electro-mechanical actuation, modular mounting system, weatherproof control module, remote aiming systems, and mechanical soldier activated safety interlock.  Weapon control is established through a multi-conductor cable that enters the HAMMER control module through a rugged circular waterproof connector.  Integration with an unmanned vehicle requires establishing a connection to the existing firing system output and a camera input.  Manned vehicles and and fixed installations require separate remote positioning capability, which may be provided by the H2X-Turret system (above).  In all cases, the mechanical safety is left unchanged for positive soldier weapon securing.

More Industries has teamed with MPS (Military & Police Systems) and uses the all-stainless AA-12 shotgun as the HAMMER system's firearms core.
